1)  OPTION  - DO IT YOURSELF...

  Buy 109 large wooden beads with diameter 1-2 cm and holes for the thread to pass through (if there are no wooden beads available any other material can be used) and 3-5 m of a strong,  thick nylon thread.

  Tie a knot about 15 cm from the end of the thread and then string the beads, tying a single or a double knot after each one depending on the thickness of the thread (fig. 1)

  After stinging 108 beads, pull the two ends of the thread through one large master bead (fig. 2)

  This bead is called the Krsna bead and it is better for it to be bigger then other beads. Tie knot next to it and cut off excess thread. You now have your own set of japa beads.
